Assistant Brewer
Overview
We have one 10BBL 4Vs brewhouse and double brew into 20 BBL FVs. We do not filter; we do not pasteurise.
Working closely with the Lead Brewer, Assistant Brewer position is a full-time, salaried position with 3 months’ probation period. This is an excellent opportunity for those willing to work hard to start a career in the craft beer industry in Hong Kong.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, but flexibility and availability in scheduling is welcomed in this position. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance and 14 days paid holiday.
Job Duties
- Assist the lead brewer on all cellar activities including CIP of brew house vessels, dry-hopping, monitoring product in fermentation and conditioning, beer transfers, bottling and kegging
- Wort production; mash in/out, lautering, boiling, knockout, yeast pitching, clean-up
- Yeast propagation and management
- Clean, sanitize and maintain equipment
- Involve in innovating and fine-tuning recipes
Requirements
- Degree / certification from an Accredited Brewing Training Institution preferred but not a must
- Attention to detail and hygiene
- No experience required, but 1 years’ experience brewing in a packaging/brewery facility preferred
- 55Lbs lifting ability
- Self-motivated and able to involve brewing team’s responsibilities
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving attitude
- Proficiency of beer production, storage and packaging
- Adaptability to work on a dynamic production schedule

Sales Executive
Overview
The primary function of the Sales Executive position is to assist Moonzen team to execute sales strategy. Working closely with marketing and operations team, he/she is responsible in maintaining relationships with current accounts, growing client base and servicing tour visitors to generate sales. The candidate will report to the Senior Sales Manager of the brewery.
Preferably with outgoing personality, this is a perfect position for someone that has interest in being involved in the local craft beer scene and delivering tangible results by gradually developing his/her own client network.
Job Duties
- Research and recommend prospects for new business opportunities
- Assist to respond to company-generated leads and execute the sales strategy
- Evaluate customer needs during on-site visit
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes and sales options
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and prospects
- Arrange delivery and issue invoices for clients, including online shop
- Manage the online shop and update contents accordingly
- Co-ordinate and support beer dispensing installation efforts as required
- Manage the regular taproom/tours operation and increase revenue
- Actively participate and support beer launch and events
- Follow-up on customer complaints and coordinate with required departments, including the brewing team and marketing team
Requirements
- The love of craft beer and general knowledge of F&B scene in HK
- Outgoing personality, fast learner and quick thinker
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, desire to deliver results
- Knowledge in F&B industry, SME environment or alcohol beverages production facility will be considered a plus
- Able to communicate clearly in written and spoken English and Cantonese
- Higher diploma or above, in Business and Marketing or a related discipline
- Knowledge in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
